Despite our best intentions, we sometimes have to work on Sundays.
However, after working hard during the day, it was time to get some break.
Some of us from factoria have decided to take a stroll around the neighbourhood to discover things to do in Nishiogikubo on Sunday afternoon.
We have listed a few of the places we’ve visited and recommend.
Traveler’s Bookshop Nomad
We have been wanted to go to this book shop for a while but never managed to visit.
As the name suggests, the store is full of books about different locations around the world as well as lifestyle books to spark your imagination.
We spend much of our time looking through some magazines about creation of Share House and Community Projects. This was great interest to us as at factoria, we are always looking to create something similar. Capitalising on creative talents we have in factories from all over the world to create projects in Nishiogikubo and getting locals involved. Anyway, some of the books here inspired us for sure 😃
Bar 88 Base
Just down the road from Nomad bookshop, there was this bar with interesting facade.
Unfortunately, it was too early in the day and was not open but certainly put it self on our list of the places to go at night.
After checking their website, (which is a twitter account 😃 ) it was opened back in Jan 2016, which is relatively new and as the facade suggests, its a steampunk themed Bar! Now we are really excited to check it out!
If you are looking for a great night out in Tokyo while travelling, please check out the experiences that we offer from factoria here. We will make sure you will all have a great night and experience the local side of Tokyo life!
factoria experiences herre!
We have been using this bakery regularly at parties and events we conduct at factoria. Their selection of old fashioned breads are a hit! Not only by the Japanese but by visitors from all over the world.
